This international initiative aims to increase awareness of the disease, its symptoms, and its impact on patients\u2019 quality of life.<\/p>\n\n<p>Endometriosis is characterized by the presence of tissue similar to the endometrium located outside the uterus. The condition may lead to chronic pelvic pain, digestive or urinary symptoms, and fertility difficulties. Despite its prevalence, diagnosis is often delayed, with an average delay of several years between the onset of symptoms and confirmation of the disease.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this context, awareness initiatives play a crucial role in improving recognition of the disease among the general public, patients, and healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n\n<p>During the month of March, the teams of the FHU FRAME reaffirm their commitment to advancing knowledge, diagnosis, and management of endometriosis through research projects, training initiatives, and awareness activities.<\/p>\n\n<p>FHU FRAME is fully aligned with the French national strategy against endometriosis, launched in 2022, which aims to strengthen research, improve care pathways, and provide better support for patients.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each year, the month of March is dedicated to raising awareness about endometriosis, a chronic gynecological disease that affects approximately one in ten women of reproductive age.
