FHU FRAME relies on a network of research teams recognized at both national and international levels in the fields of reproductive pathophysiology, immunology, genomics, microbiome research, imaging, and social and human sciences.<\/p>\n\n

These teams contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to endometriosis and adenomyosis by combining basic research, translational research, and clinical research. This organization makes it possible to better understand the biological mechanisms underlying the disease and to foster the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.<\/p>\n\n

Institut Cochin \u2013 INSERM U1016<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Institut Cochin is one of the main biomedical research centers involved in FHU FRAME.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Two research teams from the INSERM U1016 unit actively contribute to the consortium\u2019s projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pathogenesis and Innovative Treatments of Chronic Fibro-Inflammatory Diseases<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head: Pr Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Batteux<\/strong>Endometriosis Chair: Dr Ludivine Doridot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This team studies the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in chronic inflammatory diseases. Within the framework of FHU FRAME, their work focuses particularly on the identification of diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for endometriosis, as well as on the development of new therapeutic approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Gametes to Birth: Genomics, Epigenetics and Physiology of Reproduction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head: Dr Daniel Vaiman<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This team investigates the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms involved in human reproduction and embryonic development. Their research contributes in particular to understanding the impact of endometriosis and assisted reproductive technologies on embryonic development.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Institut Necker Enfants Malades \u2013 INSERM U1151<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Head: Pr Guillaume Canaud<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The INSERM U1151 unit develops innovative approaches in genomic medicine and cellular biology in order to improve the understanding of complex diseases. Research conducted within the framework of the FHU contributes to the identification of molecular mechanisms involved in endometriosis and to the exploration of new therapeutic targets.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The integration of these research teams enables FHU FRAME to cover the full spectrum of scientific dimensions related to endometriosis and adenomyosis, from molecular mechanisms to the societal implications of the disease.<\/p>\n\n
